I had the RevaFlex concrete coating on my pool deck last week and it came out great. However, there are some things that I wish I had done differently. I ordered this in March and they couldn’t come until August. It would have been better to do this work before the pool was filled. The instructions told me to lower the water level by 12”-24”, which I only removed about 8”. It was just enough to clear the skimmers because they said that if the particles get into the filter it would ruin it. They also told me that I needed to have the pool cleaned afterward so I made an appointment with the pool company to come out a few days later. The third thing they said was that it couldn’t be walked on for 72 hours. On that day, the workers said that I actually didn’t need to remove the water. Being that it was not a windy day, they hardly spilled any particles into the pool. I simply vacuumed with the robot a few days later and cancelled the pool cleaning appointment. Also, to my surprise, one of the workers walked on it that day. He said it only needs a few hours before you can walk on it. The following day I replaced the water in the pool because I was concerned about getting algae. I had to do some cleanup around the edges but the overall results look beautiful. Such a transition in only one day. Great Job!!!
